Infant & Toddler Classroom Lead
8.0 hours per day
Early shift: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
190 days per year
$22.00 per hour (may increase with experience)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties must be performed on site. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required: Associate's degree in Early Childhood education, Child Development or related field from a two-year accredited college or university
- Preferred: Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Required: Certified or have the ability to become certified in Infant, Child and Adult CPR & First Aid
- Preferred: Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate Certificate
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties must be performed on site. Other duties may be assigned.
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for each child
- Lifting, diapering, feeding, washing, and sitting on the floor with children
- Using the Highscope curriculum for weekly lesson planning
- Administering formal and informal child assessments including Teaching Strategies GOLD and ASQ-3
- Developing support staff roles and responsibilities for the classroom
- Completing paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion
- Participating in ongoing professional growth and training
- Maintaining respect at all times for confidentiality
- Completing necessary State and Federal reports
- Communicating with parents/guardians to discuss progress and/or concerns in a timely manner
- Communicating daily with parents/guardians
- Documenting and share the important milestones in their child's day
- Creating and leading a supportive, nurturing learning environment that encourages responsibility and motivation
