We need someone to help as our Food Pantry program continues to grow.
Overview:
As the Food Pantry Driver/Assistant you will pick up daily grocery store donations, work with a team to keep the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen well stocked, and assist with client intake for the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen. Your goal will be to ensure the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen receive the daily support they need. Your success will lead to positive relationships with local grocery store personnel and will help maintain excellent services for our clients. Come join an awesome team!

Requirements: To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following:
- Experience: At least 1 year in an office setting, data entry experience is a bonus. Clean driving record with prior experience driving a box truck.
- Skills: You must be comfortable both interacting with people and performing physically demanding work. Daily you will be expected to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Characteristics: Many aspects of this job are performed independently, you should be self-sufficient and self-motivated.
Responsibilities: As the Food Pantry Driver/Assistant, you will provide critical support to the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen. Your role in fulfilling our mission will include:
- Daily pick up of food donations from local grocery stores
- Delivery of donations to Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen
- Involvement in the stocking of Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen
- Client sign-in at the Soup Kitchen
- Client data entry for the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen
- Occasionally provide support to front desk personnel (such as covering lunch or other breaks)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
