Description
The Country Club of Buffalo is looking to hire a full-time housekeeper. In this position you will work closely with other housekeeping staff and our laundry team. The housekeeper will be required to maintains high standards of cleanliness throughout all clubhouse areas. In this full-time housekeeper role, you must have high attention to detail and strong time management skills. We are looking for a team player, who will go above and beyond to make sure all areas in the Club are member ready.
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Goes through room by room in the clubhouse daily, cleaning from top to bottom
- Dusting, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows/doors, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping
- Removes trash from receptacles
- Works with Front Office to ensure overnight rooms are ready for guest check ins
- Cleans and stocks all overnight accommodations after guests check out
- Works with Laundry team to reorder cleaning supplies
- Works with AGM to ensure Standard Operating Procedures for daily maintenance are being completed.
- Makes suggestions on improvements for processes or materials used
- Maintains inventory on room supplies, linens, and kitchen supplies within the unit and reports any maintenance needed
- Notes and communicates any noted damage, extra dirty rooms, or lost & found items to their supervisor
Requirements
Housekeeper Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to, handle, or feel
- Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Frequently is required to balance/use step stool
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
