The Country Club of Detroit is seeking a motivated professional to serve as Houseman. Candidates are expected to perform the following tasks while serving as an ambassador of the Country Club of Detroit to Members and Teammates at all times.

Job Summary
Housekeeping take care of day-to-day setup and breakdown of events spaces throughout CCD’s 220-acre property. The housekeeping team is responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of the 1927 built Clubhouse and the Summer Village (seasonal).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Report to your work area on time in full accordance of CCD uniform and appearance standards.
- Ensure all Club spaces are cared for and inspected according to CCD standards.
- Properly protect and care for equipment, furnishings and surfaces.
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities which include (but not limited to):
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Vacuuming
- Buffing
- Dust/Polishing
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Highly service oriented.
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping/Maintenance or Janitorial staff.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- This position requires a significant amount of physical activity as furnishings are moved throughout the spaces daily. Interested applicants must be physically capable of lifting, moving and carrying objects of fifty pounds or more upon occasion.
