We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical and mechanical systems
- Fabricate or repair parts using various tools and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems or hazards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including the ability to read schematics and work with logic controllers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
