Summer Position Announcement:

BOAT CONCESSION ASSISTANT

Salary: Starts at $15.00 per hour

Part-time, Weekends & Holidays

Variable Start & End Dates

Supervised by: Operations Supervisor

Nature of Work:

Responsibility of this 20 hours per week position is to greet the public, collect fees paid for facility usage and merchandise. Attendants are required to work two days per week (Weekends), including holidays.

Examples of Work:

  1. Provides outstanding customer service to the public.
  2. Involves collection of Boat Rental fees.
  3. Sales of Bait and Tackle items.
  4. Responsible for appearance of the Boat Rental Facility.
  5. Inventory of items.
  6. Additional duties as assigned.

Desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills:

  1. Ability to quickly learn computerized point-of-sale system.
  2. Ability to uphold departmental policy and procedures in a firm, consistent manner.
  3.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.

Requirements:

  1. Must be willing to work all or some of the following: early mornings on weekends.
  2. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  3. Must be punctual for all work shifts.
  4. Must be professional in appearance.
  5. Weekend work required.
