Pay Range: $80,700.92 to $105,919.95
This is an exempt (salaried) position. Pay rates are based on education, skill, experience level and internal equity. Internal equity considerations include an assessment of the applicant’s salary history and qualifications in comparison to the market rate and requirements for the job.

Position Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate the operational functions of the WIC(Women, Infants, Children) program to ensure
quality, cost-effective case management and care coordination is provided.
This managerial position promotes the development, review, and revision of
the WIC program and Clinic policies and procedures and institutes quality
assurance measures within the program to ensure quality and consistency of
services.
Essential Functions
Provide leadership for assuring and coordinating the availability of nutrition services to participants receiving other health department services.
Interpret and ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage and directs day-to-day services and resources of assigned program.
Participate in the development of policies and procedures for assigned case management and care coordination programs
Ensure quality assurance activities and process improvement activities are conducted.
Prepare and monitor the program budget.
Participate in community-level planning to develop partnerships and linkages with healthcare providers and areas of collaborative practice to ensure programs’ needs are met
Collaborate effectively with agency administration to provide services for community emergency intervention
Conduct a periodic assessment of the local WIC Project needs for program planning purposes
May be required to staff shelters in the event of a disaster
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of six years of WIC experience, including one year of supervisory experience or completion of an approved supervisory training
program.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition.

Licenses and Certifications
May require a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License
May need to obtain and maintain a County Operator's Permit
Preferred Qualifications
RD or RDN licensure preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Initiating referrals to community health care providers, social service, and advocacy agencies, and the ability to effectively refer clients as needed.
HIPAA compliance standards and all aspects of client privacy practices
Evaluating health trends and risk factors of target populations
