Job Summary:   Responsible for the effective cleaning and maintenance of precision molds for plastic injection molding machines.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tear down, assemble, and clean molds safely and efficiently according to procedures and processes.
• Work with tooling personnel for the repair of damaged mold components.
• Develop and document instructions for safe and efficient mold tear down, assembly, and clean.  
• Identify and label proper configuration of mold components for proper assembly of desired part.
• Mold staging, receiving and shipping of molds to outside Vendors or service providers
• Maintain proper supply of inventory to perform tasks for position.
• Identify and follow up with appropriate tooling personnel for damage to molds and/or updates to instructions.
• Perform normal preventive maintenance.
• Regular attendance. 

Essential Qualifications:

• Aware of how OSHA standards are applied in a manufacturing environment
• Currently enrolled in or proof of completion of high school Tech Education coursework
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a team player; and have the ability to develop a team atmosphere.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

ADA Requirements:

• Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods 
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally
• Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously
• Exposure to machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection
• Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
