What You'll Be Doing
This position is 90% remote

The Benefits Analyst plays a critical role, providing counseling and guidance as well as program administration and management for benefits, wellness, and leave administration at Wake County. The Benefits Analyst is a member of a dynamic team that puts Wake County employees first, ensuring they understand their options and feel empowered to make the best personal decision.
Daily life in this position includes:
- - Counseling employees and answering questions related to benefits, wellness and leave programs
- - Administering leave programs such as FMLA, parental leave, military leave, and shared leave
- - Planning, coordinating and marketing wellness programs such as classes, speakers and seminars
- - Reporting and analyzing program data
About Our Team
Through strategic partnership with County leadership, the Human Resources Department provides collaborative, innovative human resource programs and services that are customer-driven and results-oriented.
The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
- - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field
- - Two years of experience in human resources administration
- - Equivalent education and experience are accepted
Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)
Experience with benefits, wellness, and leave programs is always helpful but not necessary.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:15pm; 90% remote work schedule ; 90% remote work schedule
Hiring Range: $25.19 - $34.00 per hour
