Overview:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet service, carving stations, bartending, running food during events, buffets, plated meals, replenishing product and supplies in compliance with event standards.
Orders are served fresh and can be hot or cold (depends on product).
Ensure that events are properly equipped and executed by transporting, pulling, setting up and breaking down, as well as returning equipment to designated storage in compliance with event standards and instructions.
Clean, organize and restock equipment/product returning from catering events.
Ensuring patio, event areas and inside areas are clean.
Attending customer’s requests and/or complaints.
Delivering food with golf cart
Coordinating multiple food orders to be delivered in 1 trip
Using carts to transport food to buildings and offices
Inventory all supplies on a daily basis and order products from suppliers
Maintain a well groomed appearance; and
Maintain a positive, friendly attitude no matter the emotional state of our guests.
Maintain a valid California Driver’s License, Vehicle Registration and Minimal Liability Insurance as required by law
Must have reliable transportation
Be extremely flexible to daily schedule changes based on catering/event needs and deliveries
Always keep busy by cleaning and organizing the catering environment, golf cart, storage room, etc
Be proactive and contact Catering Event Coordinator or customer directly when running late
Always have a printed paper copy of the daily catering schedule on hand
Perform other duties that could be assigned.
