We’re looking for a positive and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel (both 3p-11p shift and Night Audit 11p-7a) You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. The ideal candidate has brilliant communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
A Day in the Life:
· You will be responsible for assisting guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
· Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
· Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner
· Post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures
· Create, edit, and handle guest reservations
· Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
· Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers)
· Be a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
· Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· At least two years of customer service experience
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Familiarity with computer systems and software
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Stand for extended periods of time
· Lift packages and guest luggage at times exceeding 30lbs
