Job Overview:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel. You will work closely with the General Manager and various departments to maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service, address guest concerns, and ensure a positive guest experience throughout their stay.
Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff, ensuring they meet the company's high standards.
Operations: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure everything runs efficiently.
Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to maximize profitability.
Sales and Marketing: Support sales and marketing efforts to increase occupancy rates and revenue.
Compliance: Ensure the hotel complies with Marriott brand standards, safety regulations, and local laws.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues as they arise to maintain the hotel's reputation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry.
Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of Marriott brand standards (preferred).
