AUTO MECHANIC / (Newport News)

compensation: PAY IS EVERY WEEK
employment type: full-time

FULL TIME AUTO MECHANIC
LIGHT to MEDIUM ABILITYS

8am to 5pm

  • Repair brake and steering systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
  • Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
  • Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
  • Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
  • 5 year min. exp.

Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience level:

  • 5 years

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • light to med truck mechanic: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • ASE A1 Engine Repair Certification (Required)
