Job Posting for GI Technician - Full-Time at Covenant Physician Partners
Villages Endoscopy & Surgical Center, a Covenant Physician Partner, is looking for a Full-Time GI Tech to fill a role in our busy surgery center.
About the Opportunity
As an Endoscopy Tech you will wash and decontaminate all equipment including scopes, accessories, and instruments per manufacturer guidelines. The Endo Tech will maintain processors and autoclaves, perform daily checks and cultures, and document the maintenance in the appropriate records.
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start date
- One (1) or more years of experience as an Endoscopy Tech, Central Sterile Tech, Medical Assistant, or similar role in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of endoscopy tech experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification preferred; must obtain within twelve months of hire
