Our growing marketing team is seeking a Partner Marketing Manager to help increase product awareness and adoption for our partner’s product. This is a strategic and critical role in our expanding team. If you're a passionate and experienced B2B product marketer with demonstrable success working with emerging products and driving GTM strategies, you're just who we're looking for.


Job Summary:


As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will be a profound force in driving this growing ecosystem. You will develop marketing strategies and execution plans that drive product awareness and adoption of our partners’ products. This includes eCommerce, Loyalty, HR Software, and Delivery Suite. You are not alone! You will work closely with our product team, marketing team, and tech partners to launch each campaign. Your job is to demonstrate how the Cova product and our partners’ tools work together to solve the challenges cannabis retailers face and help them succeed.


Responsibilities:


  • Building and driving relationships with key partners in the United States and Canada.
  • Creating strong positioning for Cova’s partner ecosystem that feeds into the overall brand story, pitch opportunities, and customer value proposition.
  • Understanding the overall partner strategy and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Creating a strategy around which partners or categories Marketing / Inside Sales should help drive.
  • Determining targets based on needs/problem set and creating multi-product/solution approaches.
  • Developing and executing partner marketing programs to drive leads, including:
    • Define value prop and messages- how their products solve retailers’ problems.
    • Create pricing strategies and develop bundle pricing.
    • Work with partners to create content & sales collateral to support SEM efforts and campaigns.
    • Work with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns including email, social media, landing pages, and advertising.
    • Create and maintain tools to attract and close deals including presentations, marketing collateral and content, proposals, and scripts.
  • Updating the marketing team on partner forecasts, trends and new partners.
  • Measuring effectiveness of partner marketing program by reporting on leads, adoption/usage rates, and/or sales pipeline progress for client opportunities.


Qualifications:


  • University Graduate, ideally in a Marketing discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a solid writer, strong communicator, and comfortable speaking in front of large, senior groups.
  • Innovative and dynamic, this person will be a problem solver and a solution maker.
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
  • Can travel as required.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, and Google Analytics.
  • Power-user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.


30-Day Goal:

  • Understand our product and partner strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and our partners to create a joint positioning and launch their landing pages.


60-Day Goal:

  • Work with VP of marketing to develop a pricing strategy and launch bundle pricing for Cova our partners
  • Develop GTM strategy and joint marketing campaign with key partners in key markets
  • Coordinate with partners to create at least 2 blogs


90-Day Goal:

  • Work with partners to develop 2 lead gen content (i.e, ebook, videos)
  • Develop 1-3 pieces of sales collaterals

Estimated Salary Range: $75,000 USD - $95,000 USD
