Sign-On Bonus - $1500Join us in creating a sustainable future and becoming a protector of tomorrow!The Waste Water Processing Technician is responsible for carrying out the routine operational and maintenance, environmental, and safety duties as assigned. This position requires an ability to follow instructions consistently and to communicate effectively so that all activities are aligned with the desires of the Operations Supervisor and Covanta Environment Solutions.Responsibilities:- Monitor shipping/receiving and placement of products
- Complete worksheets and forms clearly and consistently.
- Gather and assist with evaluating samples (as assigned).
- Assist and/or manage the offloading and loading waste
- Assist and/or manage bulk transfers.
- Operation of forklift
- Monitor the operation of all equipment.
- Identify and report operating anomalies to the Operations Supervisor or Maintenance Department.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a waste water, recycling, environmental solutions company or related industry
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to company health and safety requirements.
- With adequate training after being hired, be able to operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, hand truck etc.
- Previous experience with front loader a plus
