Floating to other Thompson locations will be occasionally required.

Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Clinic RN will support patient care through nursing assessment, accessing ports, drawing labs, and telephone triage. Clinic RN may also support clinic providers with schedule prep, order entry, and limited case review.

Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years professional experience. Experience with ambulatory nursing, ports, and central lines is preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid Tennessee RN license. Yearly infection control, fire, safety and CPR inservices are required.
Continuing Education:
Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or Fifteen (15) hours required annually, plus ACLS certification; orTen (10) hours required annually, plus specialty certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus ACLS instructor.
