The Role
This position will focus on providing reporting and visibility into projects for senior management in the Growth department. In this role, you will work with Business Development Leaders, Managers, and Associates to keep projects running smoothly with a documented plan in place and ensure the team is keeping them up-to-date as things change.
Please note: This is an on-site role with the requirement to be in the office at least 4 times per week.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the principal driver of Growth projects by ensuring timely deliverables are met
- Closely and transparently manage the critical path of multiple growth projects;
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify strategic and operational risks to timelines and deliverables to create appropriate mitigation and contingency plans;
- Facilitate project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision-making, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders;
- Ensure work is broken down into larger top-level items (“epics”), stories and sub-tasks using best practices and size estimates applied;
- Educate teams on a basic project management framework as needed such as Kanban or ‘jobs to do’ and enforce its use across the department
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Compensation:
The Expected base pay for the role will be between $120000-$128,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonus and other Cover Whale-sponsored total rewards/benefits.
