About the role

We are seeking a director-level individual to lead our program management function and special programs across the organization. This critical individual will directly influence the program management strategy and define and manage the frameworks in which the teams will work to ensure the company’s success.  The Director of Program Management will ensure that the program managers are driving toward key performance indicators and aligning with the top goals of the company (OKRs).  They will also be critical in managing special projects and shaping critical opportunities to solve Covera Health’s key partner needs.

You will be expected to:

  • Build and grow a Program Management Office, working with key stakeholders to integrate the function across the organization.  Document program management methodologies and develop scalable playbooks
  • Manage a team of program managers who lead critical initiatives across the company.  Recruit, manage and onboard program managers, and work closely with partner teams to ensure that they are integrated for success
  • Develop the strategic recommendations to solve business questions and propose, design, execute, and evolve key special programs that align to our strategy
  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs of various size and scope as needed.  Manage key programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation, and successful on-time delivery to scale our client and partner impact
  • Analyze company gaps and create frameworks to manage prioritize programs, including scope, resource management and project selection and advise leadership on key improvements
  • Build partnerships with teams across Covera and ensure that program management needs are met in all areas
  • Promote a healthy cross-team culture with shared vocabulary, and increased communications and organization through better documentation, training, and partnerships with teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or BA required
  • 10 years experience in program management in a tech company (i.e., process improvement, optimizing workflows, system implementation, etc.)
  • Experience building a PMO or program management function
  • 5-10 years leading program management teams

In order to excel in this role, you have the following:

  • Fantastic at managing projects to success criteria and keeping track of teams
  • Experience in consulting, preferably in tech or healthtech
  • Healthcare experience a big plus
  • Highly skilled at influencing customers, Product Management/Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic and operational initiatives
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to dive into problems, see the big picture and its components and dig into data to surface insights
  • Superior personal time management and organizational skills

The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $150,000 - $185,000.
