Description
Coversafe, Inc. is a reputable and rapidly growing dealer / installer of Automatic Pool Covers with operations in multiple states across the country. We are currently looking for Technicians to join our team! Candidates will be responsible for field installations, and repairs across various client locations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who brings former technician experience, is reliable, willing to learn, and who is able to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:
- A valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and a good standing driving history. Our Service Technicians are required to drive company vehicles to customer locations.
- Has worked as a Technician's assistant or has proven ability to work at a higher level.
- Must be able and willing to work 10 hour days, Monday through Friday and commit to an on call rotation as needed
- Use of Power and hand tools to perform tasks
- This position requires consistent exposure to outdoor elements, including hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crawl repetitively throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including warehouse, client site, and company issued equipment or vehicle
- Work directly with Assistant Technicians, Peer Technicians, Area Leaders, Coordinators
- Perform routine maintenance and installation of automatic pool covers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- 2-3 years previous service technician experience preferred
- In lieu of previous service experience, candidates with mechanical background, construction experience, or similar industry are encouraged to apply
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems on products and installations
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools, and a strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to report details of all work performed at each jobsite by making the correct notes on services orders in necessary software
