We are currently seeking a proactive and versatile individual to join our team as the Head of Maintenance.
Company: Coveted Casitas specializes in managing short-term vacation rentals, committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
Position: Head of Maintenance
Location: Albuquerque, NM (particularly the Old Town, Downtown, UNM, and Nob Hill areas)
Responsibilities:
- Assume leadership of the maintenance department, overseeing all aspects of property upkeep and repair.
- Independently assess maintenance issues and coordinate high-quality repairs in a timely manner to ensure guest and homeowner satisfaction.
- Interact with guests, cleaners, property owners, and contractors as needed, maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service.
- Regularly communicate with the property manager and business owners to coordinate tasks, updates, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks according to guest schedules and bookings, minimizing disruption to their stay.
- Maintain inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for all tasks.
- Work requires driving between various properties, particularly in the Old Town, Downtown, UNM, and Nob Hill areas.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage maintenance tasks independently.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and make quality repairs efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with guests, cleaners, property owners, and contractors.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate guest check-out at 11:00 and check-in at 16:00.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is mandatory.
