As we enter an exciting phase of our SaaS journey, we are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Global Technology Solutions team based at Eight Mile Plains (flexible working available). You will be responsible for product roadmap execution for Covetrus Ascend as we take this cloud-based application to market this year. This role would best suit an ambitious individual who is either looking to step up from a SaaS Product Owner role or comes from a Product Marketing stream with strong business facing product management. As Product Manager, you will: Maintain a well groomed product backlog and release plan. Prioritise and manage the feature backlog for effective release and sprint planning (building, editing, writing user stories, break/ fix management). Collaborate closely with UX on design and user testing, embracing all feedback channels & product analytics to improve our product offerings. Develop a deep understanding of our customer’s needs and objectives, and be able to clearly evangelise product and feature value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. Evaluate trade-off decisions across the customer experience, development and operational support in partnership with teams. Work closely with the development team to ensure releases meet and exceed customer and stakeholder expectations. Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive adoption. Communicate product feature roadmaps, priorities and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal teams to external stakeholders. Work hands-on with engineering and scrum processes to deliver projects on time. Co-ordinate and execute beta/ pilot releases. About You To be successful you will have; Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering or Business/Marketing (with an IT minor) combined with demonstrated three years’ experience in B2B SaaS product management or as a Product Owner. Hands-on experience facilitating execution with scrum teams. Demonstrated experience in an AGILE working environment ideally within the IT-enabled healthcare or animal health industry (though not essential). Demonstrated experience with On-Prem/Cloud hybrid solutions Key successes in problem solving and analytical thinking with an ability to navigate a fast-moving environment across a variety of projects and technologies.
