Covia has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative located in our Chardon, OH facility. The Customer Service Representative will take on a central role with Accounting, Purchasing and Customer Service duties.
The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:
- Accounts Payable – enter invoices for payment and process ACH’s and checks
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Assist with the process of annual and monthly close
- Generate reports from Navision software
- Research, purchase and receive in raw material
- Maintain excellent supplier relationships
- Support with answering phones
- Assist with inventory management
- Process customer orders
- Generate and post batch sheets for production runs
- Accurate record keeping and filing as required
- Assist with customer relations, quotes and pricing calculations
- Obtain freight rates and schedule freight pick ups
- Other duties as assigned
The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of office experience and/or accounting experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Highly organized, efficient and self-directing in a multi-tasking environment with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Navision software a plus
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and relationship-building skills are vital
