We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to join our team. The Shop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and ensuring efficient workflow.

As the Shop Supervisor at Cowan Roofing, you

will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily

operations of our shop. Your responsibilities will

include managing staff, preparing complete

orders for roofing projects, maintaining the

cleanliness and organization of the warehouse,

and coordinating with other departments to

ensure smooth operations. Your leadership and

organizational skills will contribute to the

efficiency and productivity of our shop.

Responsibilities:

1. **Staff Management:** Supervise shop staff,

including training, scheduling, and performance

management. Foster a positive and productive

work environment.

2. **Order Preparation:** Ensure accurate and

complete orders are prepared for roofing

projects, including gathering materials, tools, and

equipment required for each job.

3. **Warehouse Organization:** Maintain a clean

and organized warehouse, ensuring materials

are properly stored, labeled, and easily

accessible.

4. **Equipment Maintenance:** Oversee the

maintenance and repair of shop equipment and

tools, ensuring they are in good working

condition and available when needed.

5. **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all shop

activities comply with safety regulations and

company policies. Conduct regular safety

inspections and train staff on safety procedures.

6. **Inventory Management:** Manage shop

inventory including complete inventory counts.

Ensure adequate stock levels of necessary

materials and supplies. Coordinate with suppliers

for timely and cost-effective procurement.

7. **Quality Control:** Ensure all work carried out

in the shop meets the company's quality

standards. Implement quality control procedures

and address any issues promptly.

8. **Coordination with Other Departments:**

Collaborate with other departments, such as

sales and project management, to ensure

seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

9. **Operational Efficiency:** Implement

operational procedures to improve efficiency and

productivity in the shop. Identify and address any

issues that may impact operations.

10. **Grounds Maintenance:** Oversee the

maintenance of the shop's exterior space,

including grounds, trailers, and other outdoor

areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-

organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
