What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Supervisor position at Cowgirl Creamery & Tomales Bay Foods?
Tomales Bay Foods, home of the Cowgirl Creamery, is looking for an enthusiastic leader to help guide our Delivery team. This position is responsible for providing direction and coaching for staff while meeting daily and weekly goals in the most efficient manner possible, with an emphasis on customer service, safety and accuracy. This role oversees all daily routing of deliveries, maintains communication with our drivers to address any delivery issues and find viable solutions for our customers, and covers delivery routes as needed (approximately 50% of time spent on the road).
What You'll Do:
- Creating daily delivery routes with an eye towards safety and efficiency.
- Creating & updating the weekly schedule for Drivers and assigning routes on a daily basis.
- Processing orders in our ERP system once they are verified by drivers for accuracy.
- Updating routing software (Samsara) with daily route information.
- Maintaining all company vehicles including preventative maintenance, as needed servicing, and all associated record keeping, etc.
- Monitoring established KPIs and providing feedback and coaching when appropriate.
- Following facility HACCP & Food Safety Program and ensuring all Delivery team know, understand, and follow all applicable procedures.
What You Bring:
- 2 years of experience in a delivery role using cargo vans or larger vehicles
- 1 years experience in high-volume, deadline driven warehouse environments
- 2 years supervisory experience preferred
- Clean MVR, prior forklift experience
- Previous ERP or WMS experience preferred
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to operate delivery vans transporting refrigerated product including loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ability to remain stationary for periods of time while sitting or standing
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

- This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Pay range is $27-36/hr, new placements can expect to start at the beginning of range.
