Job description

  • Close residential and commercial purchase and sale and refinance real estate transactions;
  • Review contracts between parties for duties and responsibilities of the escrow/closing agent;
  • Review title reports and/or UCC searches for property/assets being transferred and clear any liens;
  • Prepare settlement statements and closing disclosure statements;
  • Prepare and issue closing protection letters, payoff requests, and transfer documents;
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and referral sources;
  • Supervise escrow assistants and mobile notaries.

Education

· High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

· 1-2 years related experience

License or Certification

· LPO (Limited Practice Officer) Required

There is no higher priority to the entire Cowlitz County Title Team than the safety of our customers and employees. Cleaning stations, sneeze guards and our lobby/closing areas are cleaned multiple times each week.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Fair Housing Regulations: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Loan Processing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • LPO Escrow: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • LPO (Limited Practice Officer) (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Longview, WA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
