Job Description:
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a 3rd Shift Extrusion Group Leader to become an integral part of team in Hooksett, NH! You will lead a small group of extrusion operators and coordinate production activities on the 3rd shift.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize and direct extrusion operators to meet production schedules.
• Monitor performance and set priorities for extrusion operators.
• Make sure operators work in a safe and healthy manner, following all safety rules and policies.
• Ensure quality checks are performed to ensure product meets customer and listing requirements.
• Assist operators in basic troubleshooting when product is out of spec to return product within acceptable limits.
• Monitor extrusion lines for upcoming jobs to ensure paperwork, tooling and materials are available at completion of the current job.
• Able to set up and run extrusion line for primary extrusion and jacket extrusion, when necessary to maintain production flow.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
Desired Background/Skills:
• At least 5 years of extrusion experience in wire and cable.
• Supervisory experience leading, training and setting priorities for other employees.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
