What You’ll Do : More than anything, you’ll learn the ropes of the service technician world. You’ll bring your attention and enthusiasm every day as your toolbox (literal and metaphoric) grows.
Other responsibilities include :
Work closely with a mentor while processing through the apprenticeship program.
With supervision, perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, and vehicle inspection.
With supervision, perform battery testing, maintenance, and replacement.
With supervision, perform various repairs, including tires, safety inspections, and interior exterior components.
Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, tires, fluids, and disposable trash.
Who You Are : You’re a quick study with a lifetime love of learning. To you, there’s no better feeling than the satisfaction of fixing a machine that’s broken.
You also have the following qualifications : Required :
6 months of related work experience.
The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
Preferred :
A high school diploma or GED.
