The Client Trainer I – Accelerate My Deal is responsible for delivering high-impact, educational and consulting content through primarily virtual training sessions to newly launched Accelerate My Deal (AMD) clients. The goal of the call is to set the dealership on the path to transforming their operations to fully harness the power of AMD.
The successful Client Trainer I will exhibit a passion for high level customer satisfaction, understand the client needs, and be able to apply strategies that drive the dealer’s business model. They will be responsible for pre-launch assessments, tailoring the training to the needs of the dealership, and any follow-up needed.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully complete training/certification to be able to fully engage dealer clients and present the AMD content
- Demonstrate high proficiency training on all products in domain and gain knowledge and experience needed to start to build and adapt basic consultative training strategies for each unique customer.
- Deliver virtual instruction and operation of AMD product driving product and solution utilization.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of AMD, including product settings, features and benefits, system functionality, and settings cause and effect relationships.
- Partner with Manager for performance reviews and development opportunities and work with designated coaches or mentors to help in performance growth.
- Work with Senior Client Trainer/Manager to customize training curriculum and consulting to dealer needs. Present products in a clear, concise manner, demonstrating functionality of the system and answering dealership questions through dealership trainings.
- Work with Senior Client Trainer/Manager to troubleshoot questions and issues to meet each individual customer’s needs.
- Partner with dealer leadership team to create a customized training plan based on staffing needs and determine any dealer work needed to be successful.
- Work to successfully achieve operational targets and KPIs
- Participate in product development and enhancement review sessions to continue development as a domain subject matter expert.
- Communicate all dealership training documentation, including training agenda, training recaps, open issues, and other training communication, recording all documentation in Salesforce.
- Keep up to date on current automotive trends and best practices to ensure educational content and consulting is relevant to provide maximum value to dealerships.
- Engage and participate with training team, to include working with team members, and participating in team meetings.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work history
AND
- 1 years relevant or related experience
- Solid understanding of the Digital Retailing experience, packages and solutions
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate in a way that retains trainee engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Exceptional listening skills, ability to problem solve, and patience with customers of all skill levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to ensure successful completion of each training.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
- High energy, enthusiastic, determined, and able to motivate customers to use AMD product.
- Other duties as needed or required
- Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of retail automotive management and/or desking and finance experience preferred.
