Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst, Cox Business Marketing, is responsible for managing the general accounting functions and financial analysis of programs and vendors across Cox Business and Cox Residential advertising teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will be required to provide insight into trends and best practices for business objectives and solutions as well as the implementation of those solutions to drive results. This role will also establish and strengthen relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
The Senior Financial Analyst should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong project manager. This individual reports to the Creative Operations Manager and is part of the shared Cox Business and residential Creative COE.

What You'll Do
- Key focus areas:
- Accuracy (budgets, billing, reporting)
- Efficiency (benchmarks, processes, tools)
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of OPEX across CCI/CB Creative COE
- Implements and maintains reporting analytical capabilities to provide insights, metrics, and trends that align with business needs
- Develops, maintains, and provides status reporting for projects on historical and prospective financial information and analysis
- Assists with agency management, performance and evaluation including annual statement of work planning process
- Ensures budget alignment with creative production estimates and tactic benchmarks
- Provides status reporting for project progress, issues, dependencies and risks
- Adheres to maintaining internal financial controls, best practices and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned depending on department and business needs
- Recommends Creative COE operational efficiencies and process improvements and assists in policy development to support change initiatives and best use of resources
- Knowledge of the business may be deep in one functional area with broad understanding of other functional areas
- Maintain, contribute to and encourage proactive and transparent communications with other functional areas and external agency partners

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in a related field (i.e. Business, Finance, Marketing, agency experience, accounting). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years of related experience, a PhD. and 1 year of experience or 8 years of related experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (both one-on-one and in groups) to work effectively, influence and problem with teams throughout organization
- Demonstrated ability to strategize, project plan, organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage initiatives in a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities
- Ability to foster positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Proficient analytical and creative problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive, detailed plans and processes
- Quantifiable accomplishments in development and attainment of aggressive operational and budget goals to drive savings and efficiency
Preferred
- BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired, such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
