The Lead Title Specialist role is a position in our Title Services Group that provides business services within a designated department, function, or process area.
Duties are primarily transactional and may include services such as office support, paperwork / documentation preparation, filing, and submissions.
The Lead Title Specialist must handle documents in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner while maintaining consistent flow from one department to the next.
Your Role :
- Handle documents in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a consistent flow from one department to the next.
- Sort and imaging Lender packets in vault / secure room.
- Retrieve perfecting documents from a secured vault repository.
- Sign off on State documents.
- Follow established procedures and compliance requirements.
- Analyze documents to determine the appropriate action and routing based on document type and client requirements or expectations.
- Process title documents with a high level of accuracy and quality through complex sorting, logging, identifying, matching, entering, auditing, routing, and researching as required.
- Use company proprietary software for research and data entry.
- Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
- Identify problems, gather information, and analyze the information to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all areas of the department.
- Train new hires and up-train current team members.
- Coach and provide feedback to team members.
- Be a positive role model to team members in all areas of performance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional mandatory overtime.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Maintain good organizational skills and remain adaptable; demonstrate consistent accuracy and thoroughness; efficient and timely completion of work.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED and 7 years' experience in a related field; OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree / certification beyond a HS diploma / GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience;
or 9 years' experience in a related field.
- Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
What We Look For (Preferred) :
- Licensed Notary.
- Degree in a related discipline.
- Experience in Titling.
USD 25.29 - 37.98 per hour
Compensation :
Hourly base pay rate is $25.29 - $37.98 / hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and / or an incentive program.
Benefits :
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
