Job Summary
The Catering Chef is responsible for the daily operations of catering services in collaboration with the Catering Coordinator and the Chef Supervisor. Performing preparation of basic and specialty dishes with a high standard of quality and sanitation. Ensuring food for catering functions is ready in a timely manner with an attractive presentation. Additional duties will include assisting with food inventory, ordering, menu preparation, and training kitchen staff.

Education
Experience
Preferred: Catering experience
Preferred: Supervisory experience
Skills
Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Able to follow directions and work together as a team player
Able to stand for long periods of time
Extensive knowledge of food safety in accordance with Missouri food code
Able to move quickly, climb, carry, pull or push up to 50 pounds
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Preferred: Chef Certification (American Culinary Federation, Culinary Institute of America or like institution)
