Job Summary

The IT Clinical Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting of clinical IT systems and applications within a healthcare organization. This position will be directly aligned to Epic's Ambulatory solution. EpicCare Ambulatory is Epic's solution designed for ambulatory clinics. The role involves working to develop and deploy clinical IT systems and applications – managing the implementation process and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly. The Clinical Systems Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with physician practices' workflows, hospital outpatient departments and patient experiences. Also an understanding of a wide array for integration points, including scheduling, lab, radiology, billing, and inpatient clinical workflows.
