Job Description Essential Responsibilities Support application areas that include remote monitoring and diagnostics and operations optimization of solar and battery energy storage projects. Work with multiple datasets to extract insights. Perform data cleaning and data wrangling to prepare data for analysis and modeling Demonstrate analytical understanding of data and statistics Support data-related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, perform data analysis & interpretation and visualization. Report insights and help users to make decisions and find improvement opportunities. Engage cross-functional stakeholders to understand user requirements (voice of customer) and ensure data accuracy and availability. Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Required Qualifications Must enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline as listed below. Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field of study in Computer Science with Data Analytics experience. Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding). Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship Desired Characteristics Completed at least two full years of college. Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision. An analytical approach to problem solving with a high degree of curiosity. Willingness and ability to learn from others. Willingness to make and learn from mistakes. Excellent organizational, written communication, and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and team player. One who strives for academic excellence and shows great initiative. . Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible. Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
