CPA firm seeking Senior Accountant.  The candidate must have experience working in a CPA firms. Proven experience managing clients, processing Payroll, Sales Tax, Licenses and Permits, month end close, and financial statement preparation

Bilingual (Italian is a plus)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 or 5 years' experience in Public Accounting. 
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Extensive experience in cleaning up and maintaining QuickBooks Desktop and Sage 50
  • Expertise in Bookkeeping and reconciling proficiency
  • Experienced processing Payroll, Sales Tax, Licenses and Permits
  • Experience in month end, year-end close, and financial statement preparation.
  • Must be able to supervise and train staff
  • Must be able to independently manage business clients
