We are looking for a skilled Machine Assistant to assist our Machine Operators, in the production of high quality plastic cards and paper carriers.

Annual Merit Plus Other Pay Incentives
Responsible for preparing, operating and maintaining a silk screen printing press to produce high-quality plastic secured card sheets and prepare them for final processing in the Finishing Department to ensure the production and timely delivery of high-quality plastic secured cards according to customer specifications and Company quality objective.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
-
- Continuously monitors and visually inspects cards as they come out of the machine
- Watches computer for flagged rejects
- Quickly keeps products in sequenced order as remakes occur
- Set up workstation and create boxes and trays for products to be packed in
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Highschool diploma or GED
- High aptitude for number sequencing
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand and arm dexterity & Hand/Eye Coordination
- Must be able to stay intensely focus for long periods of time
- It is essential for the Assistants to have good vision, and the ability to properly distinguish color
- Proficient communication skills including reading, writing and speaking in English
Meet physical requirements:
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Lift up to 70 pounds
Preferred Skills:
- Computer experience
- High mechanical aptitude
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Printing or graphics experience
- Manufacturing experience with a strong technology base
