Property Manager
CPM is hiring for a community Manager at a 142 unit tax credit property in Vail. This full-time position will reward your people skills, sales experience, high energy, positive attitude and excellent performance with great earnings possibilities and outstanding advancement opportunities. The Community Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the physical assets as well as resident communications. Property managers are responsible to ensure that the property is maintained to the highest standard and is encouraged to focus on customer service and creative problem solving.
PROPERTY MANAGER COMPENSATION: Salaried position, DOE $55-$65k Significant housing package available
PROPERTY MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
Performing financial tasks such as rent collections, invoice payment and analysis of operating statements.
Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that tenants are satisfied.
Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy; assign and participate in lease file audits.
Be an expert on current market conditions and trends, by shopping competition and completing training coursework.
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors.
Hiring, training, supervising and motivating the property staff.
Process move out statements as well as collections and security deposit returns.
Prepare and process renewals in a timely manner.
Complete weekly and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Post rent and follow up with collections and initiate legal action.
Tour the property daily and address any curb appeal and / or maintenance issues.
PROPERTY MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year(s) of experience as a Community Manager or 2 years of experience as a high level Assistant Community Manager
Strong communication skills
High-energy and enjoys a fast pace environment
Ability to multi-task and great with time management
Great with people — warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone
Yardi experience preferred
Tax credit experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
