Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality control and laboratory procedures? We're looking for an experienced QC Lab Technician to join an exciting team and contribute to their commitment to excellence in product testing and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and document samples following approved procedures and SOPs
- Communicate results efficiently, comparing against specifications and taking appropriate actions
- Participate in EH&S inspections, ensuring a safe and clean lab environment
- Maintain lab standards, calibrate instruments, and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Record and review analytical data for accuracy, releasing final batches with certificates of analysis
- Manage lab records, documents, and reports, updating SOPs when required
- Inspect raw materials, conduct tests, and update inventory systems accordingly
- Participate in audits, filing incident reports for out-of-spec products
- Ensure continuous supply of reagents and supplies, purchasing as necessary
- Maintain and improve test methods, supporting method development initiatives
- Provide support for environmental compliance, including SPDES requirements and ELAP audits
- Contribute to method development and improvement efforts, ensuring reagent availability
- Conduct QA calibration standards and control sample runs, maintaining calibration records
Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a QC role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
