Server at established mid-coast Maine restaurant

About us:

- We can work with your schedule. Ideally looking for 3-5 days per week.

Job Duties:
Above all the server role is to create a memorable dining experience for the guest. This involves much more than simply taking orders and ensuring the food gets to the table without error.
· Make guests feel welcome with a warm greeting and hospitality.
· Take orders from guests and input them into the point of sale.
· Make menu recommendations to guests.
· List ingredients or common allergens for guests from memory.
· Sell menu specials or limited time offers.
· Run food and drink orders for their tables and for other staff members.
Get guests a refill (or a second drink).
Look for opportunities to go above and beyond for the guest.
Complete guest transactions.
Keep track of credit card receipts and cash payment.
Encourage sign-ups to our special events.
Keep your section clean.
Bus and clean tables.
Reset tables so waiting parties can be seated.
Restock server stations with napkins, cutlery, condiments, and small plates.
Keep the server stations stocked..
Keep silverware roll-ups stocked.
Set up for Breakfast for inn guests.
Keep the server room, coffee room, trays and counter clean.
Clean the Bathrooms at the end of the shift. Keep toilet paper stocked.
Vacuum and Spot Mop Dining Room Floors at the end of the shift.
Check out with Manager before leaving.
Dress Code: Dark Pants or Dark Jeans, with no holes (no leggings), Dark Shoes, and a black top for dinner service (no spaghetti or t-shirt) and a Causeway T-Shirt for Brunch Service. The Dress Code is subject to change and will be communicated to you in a timely manner from Management.
