What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Originator position at Crane Credit Union?
Role
- To assist members with their mortgage lending needs. Generate mortgage leads through branch staff, referrals, realtors and various other sales opportunities. Guide and assist members throughout the lending process. Ensure loans are in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities (See attached Job Description for complete list of responsibilities)
- Develops and maintains relationships with realtors and third-party vendors.
- Interviews applicants, collects supporting documentation and submits applications to the Mortgage Loan Processors.
- Assists members with credit counseling, guidance on mortgage products and benefits of other Credit Union services and resources.
- Closes mortgage loans. Travels to various Credit Union locations for applications and closings.
Compensation
- The compensation structure for this position will be dual compensation with salary commission.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.70 - $30.05 per hour
