Housekeeper

Position Summary

The focus of the position will be to conduct the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of our state-of-art facility by ensuring that excellent housekeeping standards are maintained in production areas, restrooms and offices. 80% of the job will be dedicated to cleaning duties and 20% will dedicated to light maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

·         Cleans and maintains pristine cleanliness in production areas floors, restrooms and administration areas according to cleaning schedules.

·         Maintaining common area walls, windows, and doors including, wash and clean, washing windows and touch up painting.

·         Empty all waste bins and transport to designated disposal area.

·         Cleans and maintains the exterior walkways, sidewalks, exterior patios.

·         Dispose of used oils, cloths or filters to designated areas.

·         Assist Maintenance Technicians in cleaning up waste and oil spills.

·         Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.

·         To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time.

·         To be able to operate palletizers/forklift truck.

·         Act under the general guidance of management and as directed by management.

·         Willing and able to work shift arrangements and overtime as required.

·         It is the employee’s responsibility to comply with the Company’s safety policies, ensuring that all personal protective equipment is in place and that good judgment and care are exercised to prevent accidents and personal injury.

·         The above list is not complete. You will be required to undertake other duties to support the needs of the Company.

Required Qualifications

• Secondary level of education.
• Hands on experience with most of the responsibilities listed above.
• Team player and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Forklift qualification is required for the job where the Company will provide training.
• Driving license is an asset.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and initiative.
• Must have motivation and possess interpersonal skills.
