Responsibilities
As a Senior Instructional Designer with strong project management skills, you will lead the development of high-quality learning solutions. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), managing projects from inception to completion, and utilizing a variety of tools to create engaging instructional content. We are looking for a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating effective learning experiences.
- Project Management: Lead and oversee instructional design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting project objectives.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments in collaboration with SMEs to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SMEs, trainers, and cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for content development.
- Content Development: Utilize design tools to develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, multimedia content, and interactive modules.
- Storyboarding: Create detailed storyboards outlining the flow and structure of the instructional content, ensuring alignment with learning objectives.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments and evaluation strategies to measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs.
- Training Delivery: Occasionally, deliver training sessions to ensure a deep understanding of content and facilitate effective learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in instructional design, with demonstrated project management responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Articulate, Vyond, Camtasia, and other instructional design tools.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Certifications in instructional design or project management are desirable.
