Position Overview
We are seeking an individual to be responsible for management of the company’s Montana operations, including distribution of coffee and associated supplies, and sales. The office is located in Missoula and covers all of Western Montana.
The job is a combination of being operationally hands-on working with staff and customers and managing staff performance and business demands.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Management: Results are achieved through directing, controlling, role-modeling, teaching and coaching.
- Sales: Company sales, roasted coffee poundage, and new accounts increase annually.
- Operations: Operating standards are exceeded through staff accountability, coaching and development.
- Coffee: Customers receive high quality, correctly packaged and delivered Cravens Coffee that exceeds their expectations.
- Human Resources: Talented staff are recruited and retained. They are trained and coached to increase their productivity and value to the company.
- Marketing: Merchandising standards are met.
- Purchasing: Lead supply chain sourcing for all products and materials (with the exception of green coffee). Forecast and plan appropriate inventory levels.
- Facilities: Facility is clean and maintained. Capital expenditures and major repairs are researched and recommended.
- Company Culture: Culture is understood, communicated and lived daily in decision processes. Deviations from culture are immediately corrected.

Education and/or Experience
- Experience in managing staff (up to 10 people)
- Ability to proactively manage fast-paced and changeable environment.
