Position Summary

Key participant of the monthly financial close process. Will liaise with various levels of finance team, as well as internal and external auditors. Collaborates with other team members to support development and create team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of Financial Statements
• Prepare various journals for month end closing process
• Prepare various journal entries for month end close process
• Perform account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts
• Perform analysis and prepare schedules for auditors
• Prepare and record revenue recognition journal entry and perform transaction revenue internal control procedure
• Document and maintain processes and related SOX documentation
• Compile analyses and ad hoc reports for management as necessary
• Interact with Finance and Operations Management to explain processes and reply to inquiries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related degree with a concentration in accounting
• Must possess at least 5 years in corporate finance or public accounting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills; attention to details.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with a large ERP, specifically PeopleSoft, a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
