What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Health Administrator position at Crawford County Health Department?
Qualified applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
1) Master’s Degree in Public Health and two years of full-time administrative experience in public health or
2) Graduate Degree in related field and two years of full-time administrative experience in public health or
3) Bachelor’s Degree in health field and four years administrative experience (two of which must be in public health)
Essential Duties: Oversees fiscal, personnel, and public health programs for a full-time certified health department. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills, knowledge of finance and budgeting, computer skills, ability to manage a professional staff and the ability to work independently. The Public Health Administrator collaborates with community agencies, the Board of Health and the Crawford County Board to benefit the residents of Crawford County.
