Assistant Public Defender Needed

Job Title: Assistant Public Defender

Location: Crawford County Public Defender, 903 Diamond Park Meadville, PA 16335

Classification: Part-Time—Exempt - United Steel Workers Union

Essential Duties: To provide professional representation to indigent individuals who are charged with a criminal offense.

Qualifications: A degree in law from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in Pennsylvania is required. Must be a member of the bar in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Must have experience in representing clients in criminal cases, or similar legal working experience. Must be able to drive to meet and represent clients. Trial experience preferred.

Pay: $41,350.00 per year
