Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000 / year
Description
As a Professional Services Director, you would be responsible for leading the service delivery of the organization's professional services. Your role would involve developing strategies and operations to deliver best-in-class services, such as consulting, implementation, and training services, to help customers accelerate their business needs. You would work closely with the leadership across the company to establish and manage goals and responsibilities for Professional Services team. Additionally, you would contribute to thought leadership, event-specific, and customer-facing presentations.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Professional Services Director include:
- Ensuring that Professional Services Project Managers exceed expectations in completing projects successfully while meeting revenue targets and delivering business outcomes with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with the sales to help establish and manage goals and responsibilities for Professional Services Engineers.
- Assisting in the development of thought leadership, event-specific, and customer-facing presentations.
- Sharing hands-on technical preparation and presentation work for key accounts to help sell the value of what the company's professional services have to offer.
- Ensuring that Professional Services staff exceed corporate expectations in achieving billable utilization targets as well as core knowledge, communication, and execution.
- Defining and maintaining a high bar for team member expectations and enabling the team to achieve it.
- Monitoring performance of team members and providing timely feedback and development assistance.
- Creating, reviewing, and approving formal statements of work, change requests, and proposals.
- Preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly revenue forecast worksheets and creating action plans to address issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Managing resource assignments and staffing levels, including recruitment as needed.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and tools used as a seasoned professional with experience leading teams of project managers and consultants in support of external customers.
- Establish and help maintain and enforce a rigorous change management process for all projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Prior direct industry experience required.
- 5 years of experience in leadership.
- Well-rounded experience in IT and Professional Services direct reasonability.
