Chief Financial Officer

• Acquisitions: assisting with project or portfolio underwriting, PSA negotiation, due diligence and execution
  

• Fund Formation & Administration: collaborating with legal and financial advisors on the initial set-up, ongoing compliance, and administration of the firm’s first and subsequent funds
  

• Capital: assisting with raising debt and equity funding, negotiate loan terms, review loan and investor documents, prepare lender and investor decks, and investor reporting and relations
  

• Finance: forecasting, budgeting, tax strategy, accounting, A/P, payroll, insurance, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, cash and credit management, internal controls
  

• Analytics: recommending and implementing data-driven business intelligence tools, platforms, and processes to maintain a competitive edge
  

• Legal: working with outside legal and financial advisors regarding contracts, employment, permitting and licensing, investor and lender documents, regulatory compliance, tax law, etc.
  
  

Requirements

• 5-10 years of operational oversight for a private equity fund, REIT, or other fund-driven platform as a Controller, CFO or equivalent with full P&L responsibility
  

• 5 years of experience scaling, leading and managing a rapidly growing organization
  

• Proficiency in using Excel and CRE-specific platforms, accounting, and reporting software
  

• Bachelor's degree, and preferably a master's degree in real estate development, engineering, economics, accounting, finance, business or a related field
