Our client, a full-service brokerage & property management firm with a nearly 20 year track-record seeks a talented Managing Director to join their growing team in Naples. 


This is a rare opportunity to be a “Player/Coach” and Market Leader supporting both the bottom line revenue growth, and recruiting & retention of talented CRE brokers, along with the freedom to continue to cultivate your own client relationships & book of business with the resources of a supportive, technology-forward platform.

 

The ideal Managing Director is an experienced, well-connected investment sales or leasing broker with leadership experience working in the Greater Tampa Bay market who is looking for an opportunity to take their career to the next level with a well-respected, market-leading firm.

 

A day in the life of a successful Managing Director includes, but is not limited to:



  • Recruiting and training a collaborative, engaged group of commercial-specific Sales Associates

  • Hosting agent business planning sessions as well as all local sales meetings.

  • Establishing, executing, mentoring, and measuring all local business development efforts

  • Researching proposal and presentation opportunities – assigning and/or participating as appropriate

  • Growing market share by consistently generating and assigning new business.

  • Continuously boost production and achieve revenue goals

  • Nurturing relationships with tenants, owners, developers, investors, governmental groups, vendors, and other key centers of influence

  • Knowing and communicating with key commercial real estate influencers – agents/brokers, property managers, 3rd party service providers, and others

  • Educating team on local industry / market intel including new developments, competition changes, new business prospects, etc.

  • Routine attendance at local networking and industry functions as well as communal / charitable / educational events

  • Contributing and adhering to annual budgets – enforce reasonable expenditures and operational efficiency

  • Assisting with various corporate initiatives, including acquisitions and operational expansions


  • Positively promoting and enhancing the company’s overall visibility in the Tampa Bay marketplace

  • Motivating (as player-coach) professional growth aspects such as business planning, pipeline maintenance, referral resources, personal branding and social selling, networking outlets, contract negotiations, market knowledge, thought leadership, community engagement, and celebrating successes



Requirements

The ideal Managing Director candidate possesses the following skills & experience:


  • Florida Real Estate Sales Associate license required – Broker License preferred.

  • Familiarity with greater Tampa Bay commercial real estate agents, owners, tenants, officials, and overall CRE market

  • A minimum of 5 years in a (commission-based) production and management role in the commercial real estate sales/leasing field

  • Team player adept at coordinating, monitoring and inspiring others to meet goals

  • Experience in business development with a proven track record in building and leading a highly successful and profitable team

  • Knowledge of commercial sales arena – business generation, transaction management, etc.

  • Working knowledge of financial analysis of commercial property and capital market concepts
