Our national client is hiring for a Content Director to join their growing team.
This will be 40 hours per week, remote, ongoing.
You will have 3 direct reports to manage and mentor.

What you will be doing as a Content Director:
- Develop and optimize content strategies across all organic channels (with an emphasis on Social) that focus on customers search intent and solve their pain points
- Design a content distribution strategy
- Planning, executing, overseeing and improve the content strategy for 5-6 brands
- Lead build, develop and drive all brand and creative projects to tell our story in written and visual form through creative brand strategy and campaigns, cultural inspiration, and thought leadership.
- Develop and execute content strategy spanning across the customer journey supporting the entire customer experience.
- Based on research and channel performance data, produce a steady stream of high-quality content that maps to a strategy to drive traffic, acquisition, and deeper engagement with our existing.
- Ensure content development aligns with funnel-building objectives, uniquely tailored to each audience and channel.
- Optimize content according to the latest SEO best practices
- 7-10 years of brand marketing, advertising, or public relations experience and bachelors degree or similar
- Brand/content leader who has successfully delivered results impacting acquisition, engagement and retention through content marketing.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, allowing you to successfully influence and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong ability to develop a content strategy and compelling stories that are customized to each of our audiences.
- Hyper-focused on delivering results and are comfortable leveraging analytics and performance metrics and provide guidance to the team to make decisions.
- Comfortable with and have a strong handle on experiments, testing, and analysis.
- Understand the concepts of standard funnel metrics, user segmentation, customer journeys, and lifetime value to make efficient decisions.
- Media experience, including planning and budgeting
- Agency background a huge PLUS but not required
